PS Plus Extra and Premium October 2023 games line-up reveal date, time and LEAKS
PlayStation Plus subscribers are counting down to the reveal of the October 2023 Extra and Premium games. The next batch of PS Plus Extra and Premium games will be officially unveiled by Sony at 4.30pm BST UK time on the afternoon of October 11. Of course, if a recent report is anything to go by, it looks like a large chunk of the PS4 and PS5 games have leaked ahead of schedule. This includes action-adventure game Gotham Knights, which recently made its debut on Xbox Game Pass.
“Batman is dead. A new expansive, criminal underworld has swept the streets of Gotham City. It is now up to the Batman Family – Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin – to protect Gotham, bring hope to its citizens, discipline to its cops, and fear to its criminals,” reads the official Gotham Knights description.
“Gotham Knights is an open-world, action RPG set in the most dynamic and interactive Gotham City yet. Patrol Gotham’s five distinct boroughs in solo or in co-op and drop in on criminal activity wherever you find it.”
According to credible PS Plus leaker billbil-kun, Gotham Knights will be joined by the superb Disco Elysium The Final Cut, as well as Far: Changing Tides, Gungrave GORE and Elite Dangerous.
With Halloween creeping ever closer, the October line-up also contains a selection of horror games, including Dead Island Definitive Edition.
Alien: Isolation trailer from Creative Assembly
Other horror games joining the PS Plus Extra line-up in October include The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes and Alien Isolation.
Developed by Creative Assembly, Alien Isolation is one of the most beloved horror games of recent years.
Set 15 years after the events of the original Alien movie, players must explore a creepy space station as Ellen Ripley’s daughter Amanda.
“As Amanda, you will navigate through an increasingly volatile world as you find yourself confronted on all sides by a panicked, desperate population and an unpredictable, ruthless Alien.
“Underpowered and underprepared, you must scavenge resources, improvise solutions and use your wits, not just to succeed in your mission, but to simply stay alive.”
With the full line-up to be announced on October 11, there are even rumours that The Last of Us Part 2 will join the service in October.
Express Online will update this article with the full line-up later this week.
