Controllers for mobile phone gaming are all the rage and the new G8 Galileo from GameSir is up there with the best of them.

They grey unit is purposefully designed for universal compatibility, featuring an extendable bridge from 110-185 mm in length and plenty of rear space to accommodate a wide range of phone models.

That means you can strap in any iPhone 15 model or pretty much any Android device to its USB-C connector. The port itself is moveable to allow for even more connectivity.

Unlike some of its contemporaries, the G8 really doubles down on that proper console controller feel, and is very similar to a classic Xbox joypad in the hands.

It’s grippy too, which is good for long sweaty stint in cyberspace, but also a little too plasticky to the touch to feel fully elite.
