PS5 Pro release date still possible but 2020 console and price seems unlikely

With the current situation concerning the Coronavirus impacting the world’s production and distribution chains, there are fears that the planned next-gen launches for 2020 will be pushed back. So far, Sony and Microsoft say they are sticking to their guns and won’t be changing their plans. The comments were revealed in a post by LetsGoDigital via a PR agency in the Netherlands that represents SIE Benelux.

In a report online LetsGoDigital said: “BAAS, the Amsterdam PR agency for Sony Interactive Entertainment Benelux, has informed LetsGoDigital that the coronavirus has not yet delayed the launch of the PlayStation 5 for the time being.”

The caveat to all of this is that the coronavirus is an ongoing and ever-changing situation, and the coronavirus could still yet cause issues that lead to the PS5 release date being delayed.

For now, the PS5 release date is set for 2020 and that’s good news for gamers wanting to upgrade from the PS4.

But the chances that a PS5 Pro will arrive alongside the base PlayStation 5 console now seems less likely.

Recent reports indicated that Sony was exploring the option of launching two versions of the PS5.

The PS5 Pro would be more powerful and more expensive, while the base PS5 would offer the specs we just found out about.

The normal PS5 price would be seen as more affordable and would launch alongside the Pro version.

But even if Sony were exploring such an idea, it would make sense that they would now be focusing on the base PS5.

There will be plenty of effort going into sourcing parts but it seems more likely that Sony will face a harder battle to get everything they need.

It seems pretty likely that we will see a PS5 Pro console arrive in the coming years, unless the tech giant has a sudden change of heart.

There’s always the question of how big streaming will get and that means Sony having the option of expanding its PlayStation Now service.

But we would still bet that the popularity of the PS4 Pro has created plenty of incentive for the company to start planning for such a console.

This all remains a prediction for now and there is one factor that could still change everything in the coming months.

Sony has yet to reveal the price of the PS5 and that provides a window for such a thing as the PS5 Pro to be unveiled.

Until we know exactly how much the PlayStation 5 will cost, we can’t rule out a surprise reveal.

Niko Partners analyst Daniel Ahmad commented last month on whether the coronavirus could delay the launch of the PS5 and Xbox Series X.

Ahmad was responding to a follower on Twitter who asked whether there could be next-gen console delays.

The analyst said: “Not right now + too early to say for sure.

“If we’re at a point where production is not at full capacity by the end of Q2 then that will definitely be a reason for MS/Sony to reconsider holiday launches of next gen consoles.”

Ahmad also added: “With more people staying home + offline events cancelled + new game releases, we should see an increase in engagement and spend across video games as it becomes a key way for people to stay entertained at home.”

GTA 5 Online gamers have new bonuses to use this week that should help build up money fast on PS4, Xbox One and PC. As confirmed by Rockstar in a new announcement, the latest GTA Online Weekly Update has gone live. And while there is no free money rewards to pick up and claim, there are some other great offers worth checking out.

A number of missions in GTA Online have been upgraded to include Double and Triple Rewards for completion, with Repo Missions among them. These missions can be completed relatively quickly and offer a great new way to build-up in-game cash.

The bonus rates will only be available until next week, so GTA Online gamers will want to check out everything that includes those Double and Triple rewards.

The main missions and activities worth checking out this week include The Arena War Series, which is offering Triple Rewards, Both the Sawmill and La Fuente Blanca Time Trials , and all Simeon Premium Deluxe Repo Work Missions.

As mentioned above, the Deluxe Repo Missions can be quick to complete and can offer great rewards now that they are paying out at double the normal rate.

A message from Rockstar Games adds: “Head to South Los Santos this week and get threefold the benefits from the Maze Bank Arena’s most notorious residency – it’s Triple GTA$ and RP for the Arena War Series.

  • Xbox Series X controller is missing one crucial DualShock feature

“In Arena War, contestants do battle across nine different variations of automotive-based combat in an assortment of Arena Contender Vehicles, earning Arena Points to enhance and modify these rolling death machines via the Arena Workshop.

“If you’re just starting out in this particularly brutal vehicular pastime, take advantage of this week’s 50% off discount on the Arena Workshop – your home base for storing and upgrading what’s available from the in-game website.

“To launch a Time Trial, set a waypoint to the marker on your in-game map and enter via the purple corona. Beat par time and you’ll be duly rewarded with Triple GTA$ and RP this week.

“Head over to Simeon’s dealership in Pillbox Hill or browse the Missions list in the Jobs menu to take on Simeon’s Premium Deluxe Repo Work, and earn 2X GTA$ and RP.”

And it’s not just the new rewards that have been updated this week in GTA 5 Online, with new discounts available on vehicles too.

Highlights include discounts on the Ocelot Stromberg, Grotti X80 Proto, and the RC Tank and the RC Bandito series of vehicles. The message from Rockstar adds: “Once you’ve got an Arena Workshop set-up, you’ll need some muscle, in the form of Arena Contender Vehicles. And this week, all three variants of the Arena Sasquatch are 60% off. Choose from the visionary Future Shock look, the ominous Apocalypse design, or the intimidating Nightmare variation.”

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Remastered: When does MW2 come out on Xbox One and PC?

Activision kept its latest project under wraps for some time but it was revealed this week that Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Remastered would be available to play on PS4, Xbox One and PC in 2020. The downside is that the latest COD game is only available to play on PS4 at the moment, but this will soon change. So how long will gamers on Xbox One and PC have to wait until they can play MW2 Remastered?

Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is currently available on PS4 and is coming to Xbox to PC later this month.

Since launching MW2 this week, Activision has confirmed that the Modern Warfare 2 Remastered release date has been set for April 30, 2020.

And the expected launch time for MW2 Remastered on the remaining platforms is 10am PT.

A message from Activision confirms: “Relive the epic single-player Campaign from the 2009 blockbuster Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, remastered in true high-definition.

“Experience classic missions including Cliffhanger, The Gulag, and Whiskey Hotel as you join Soap, Price, Ghost and the rest of Task Force 141 in the globe-spanning fight to restore order to the world.

  • Xbox Series X controller is missing one crucial DualShock feature

“Available now on PS4. Launching April 30 on other platforms. Buy or Pre-Purchase now and immediately get the UDT Classic Ghost Bundle for use in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone.”

The pre-order is now available on Xbox One and Battle Net, and includes its own bonuses for Warzone.

But while fans can look forward to enjoying the single-player experience, there’s no chance of multiplayer support in the future.

A message from the development team explains: “Beginning with Modern Warfare last year, the focus has been to bring players together seamlessly in one unified online multiplayer playground.

“With cross-play, releasing new post-launch maps, modes, weapons and more content drops for free, and launching Warzone, the Free-to-Play, Free-for-Everyone new Call of Duty experience, the Modern Warfare universe will expand, bringing new experiences to players.

“We’ve played iconic Modern Warfare series maps of past returning in the new Modern Warfare, including classic maps like Rust, Shipment, Crash and Vacant.

“Plus, in Warzone we’ve also experienced classic Modern Warfare series locations like Gulag and Boneyard in new ways.

“Rather than release a separate, multiplayer experience as a standalone pack, Activision and Infinity Ward are looking to bring more classic map experiences to new life within the Modern Warfare universe as it continues to grow and build over time.”

So while multiplayer support won’t be coming to MW2 Remastered in the future, Season 3 of Modern Warfare is likely to include maps from MW2.

NBA 2K Tournament: New NBA Players Tournament announced for 2K20 eSports

The first-ever NBA 2K Players Tournament is being held this week as part of a new eSports event from ESPN. 16 current NBA players have been picked to go head-to-head single-elimination, player-only tournament. The event is using NBA 2K20 and will be run on Xbox One consoles. The winner will get to select a charity beneficiary to receive a $100,000 donation from 2K, the NBA and the NBPA.

This will be in support of ongoing coronavirus relief efforts, and is set to kick off on Friday, April 3, 2020.

The Coronavirus outbreak has disrupted most sports events globally and has led to many countries to quarantine their citizens.

“We’re thrilled to partner with the NBA and NBPA to bring basketball back to fans throughout the world and to help those in need during these uncertain times,” said Jason Argent, 2K Senior Vice President, Sports Strategy and Licensing.

“Entertainment, especially sports, has the ability to bring communities together – including athletes, fans and families – and we hope that everyone will enjoy the tournament.”

“We are excited to tip off the first ‘NBA 2K Players Tournament’ in partnership with the NBPA and 2K, continuing an ongoing effort to stay connected with NBA fans around the world, while also giving back in this time of need,” said Matt Holt, NBA SVP of Global Partnerships.

“This tournament offers a unique opportunity for our players to compete with one another while also supporting their philanthropic efforts and engaging with their fans,” said Josh Goodstadt, EVP of Licensing for THINK450, the commercial arm of the NBPA.

“We are excited to work with 2K and the NBA to bring this experience to life for the entire NBA community.”

Tournament coverage begins on April 3 at 7:00 p.m. ET on ESPN, with a matchup between Jones Jr. (16) and Durant (1) tipping off at 7:30 p.m. ET.

For gamers in the UK, that will mean a tuning in online at around midnight, April 4. It appears the match up will be available to watch on ESPN and NBA social media channels.

Jones Jr. and Durant will each play as one of their pre-selected teams, with Jones Jr. choosing from the Boston Celtics, Brooklyn Nets, Dallas Mavericks, LA Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks and Philadelphia 76ers, and Durant choosing from the Brooklyn Nets, Chicago Bulls, Dallas Mavericks, Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, LA Clippers, Oklahoma City Thunder and Utah Jazz.

Additional matchups will air through April 12. Every tournament game will debut on either ESPN or ESPN2, while also streaming on the ESPN App and running on, the NBA App, and 2K and NBA social channels.

The NBA has confirmed that player seeding is determined first by NBA 2K rating and second by tenure. Prior to the tournament beginning, every player will choose eight of today’s NBA teams, each of which can only be used once. If a mirror match is set, the away team is awarded first choice of team.

Player Seeding

  • 1. Kevin Durant, Brooklyn Nets (96)
  • 2. Trae Young, Atlanta Hawks (90)
  • 3. Hassan Whiteside, Portland Trail Blazers (87)
  • 4. Donovan Mitchell, Utah Jazz (87)
  • 5. Devin Booker, Phoenix Suns (86)
  • 6. Andre Drummond, Cleveland Cavaliers (85)
  • 7. Zach LaVine, Chicago Bulls (85)
  • 8. Montrezl Harrell, LA Clippers (85)

  • 10. Deandre Ayton, Phoenix Suns (85)
  • 11. DeMarcus Cousins (81)
  • 12. Michael Porter Jr., Denver Nuggets (81)
  • 13. Rui Hachimu

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Remastered releases on PS4, coming to Xbox One and PC next

In a new statement released today, Activision has confirmed its plans to launch Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Remastered first on PS4. Other platforms will follow and the game should be available to pre-purchase on Xbox One and PC today. The bad news is that while Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is available to download and play today on PS4, no set release date for Xbox or PC has been confirmed.

A message from Activision explains: “Starting today, players can relive one of the most hallowed and talked about story campaigns in gaming history with Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered.

“This fully restored and remastered experience is available now on PlayStation 4, with pre-purchase available on other platforms.

“Purchase on PS4 or pre-purchase on other platforms and get the free UDT Classic Ghost Bundle for use immediately in Modern Warfare including Warzone.

“Download Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered now in the PlayStation Store, or pre-purchase on other platforms. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered does not include the Multiplayer or Special Ops experiences of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.”

As mentioned above, buying the Modern Warfare 2 Remastered package also unlock new content for Call of Duty Warzone.

But there will be no new multiplayer functionality included, with this Modern Warfare 2 Remastered experience limited to single-player.

“Beginning with Modern Warfare last year, the focus has been to bring players together seamlessly in one unified online multiplayer playground. With cross-play, releasing new post-launch maps, modes, weapons and more content drops for free, and launching Warzone, the Free-to-Play, Free-for-Everyone new Call of Duty experience, the Modern Warfare universe will expand, bringing new experiences to players.

We’ve played iconic Modern Warfare series maps of past returning in the new Modern Warfare, including classic maps like Rust, Shipment, Crash and Vacant. Plus, in Warzone we’ve also experienced classic Modern Warfare series locations like Gulag and Boneyard in new ways.

Rather than release a separate, multiplayer experience as a standalone pack, Activision and Infinity Ward are looking to bring more classic map experiences to new life within the Modern Warfare universe as it continues to grow and build over time.

“In the meantime, we can look forward to enjoying this return to the one of the greatest single player experiences ever, beautifully remastered by Beenox. And also continue to enjoy the full Modern Warfare universe experience whether you’re jumping into Multiplayer or dropping into Warzone.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Remastered has been developed by Beenox and should be available to everyone to play during 2020.

Meanwhile, COD Warzone remains a free-to-play version of Call of Duty Modern Warfare, offering a new Battle Royale experience alongside the main game.

And as mentioned above, there are a few rewards for those who buy MW2 Remastered and play COD Warzone, with Activision adding: “

Free with purchase on PS4 or pre-purchase on other platforms is the Underwater Demo Team Classic Ghost Bundle that can be equipped for play instantly in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Multiplayer, Special Ops, and Call of Duty: Warzone.

“This Bundle includes the UDT Ghost Operator skin, turning Modern Warfare’s version of Ghost into the one seen in “The Only Easy Day… Was Yesterday” mission in the Modern Warfare 2 Campaign.

“It also has the aptly named ‘Task Force’ and ‘One For One’ weapon blueprints, a weapon charm, a Finishing Move, a calling card, an emblem, an iconic voice clip for Ghost and two Battle Pass tier skips. Get the UDT Classic Ghost Bundle free with purchase or pre-purchase of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered.”

Overwatch Echo release date: Latest Echo launch news for PS4 and Xbox One

The Overwatch Echo release has happened on the PTR, and the next phase will be for the new Hero to arrive on live PC, PS4, and Xbox One servers. So far, no launch date has been confirmed by Blizzard, but it’s expected to happen next month. However, since Echo was announced as the final Hero coming to Overwatch before the launch of its sequel, more news has been shared by Blizzard.

Game Director Jeff Kaplan has shared more on the unique challenges of launching Echo during the Coronavirus outbreak.

As shared by the Daily Star, Kaplan revealed on the TimTheTatman Livestream that the team wants to launch Echo in the coming week.

“Hopefully it’s a few weeks, and not much longer than that,” Kaplan revealed.

“A lot of that depends on the direction that the world in general goes right now. We’re keeping an eye on that, and how functional we can remain as a team.”

Adding: “It was crazy how quickly we evacuated the office, and a lot of people still can’t even work from home.

“Some people only have one computer at home, and their significant other is also trying to work from home.

“So we’re trying to figure out all of those logistics right now, and keep the live game running, and make Overwatch 2 at the same time.”

Based on earlier character launches, we would expect the Overwatch Echo release date to be set for April 2020.

As mentioned above, things could run differently with Echo due to current world events and the ongoing development of Overwatch 2.

But a wider prediction would be for the new hero to be added to the game by April 23, 2020, although no guarantees have been provided yet.

It should also be noted that Echo will be introducing a new unique ability to the game which will make it possible to duplicate other Characters.

This will allow Echo to gain use of their abilities and could make it more of a challenge to catch all the bugs that could be created through this process.

Another factor is the recent release of the new experimental mode, which Blizzard has confirmed isn’t intended to be used as a PTR.

However, it will be interesting to see if this new experimental mode will change how Blizzard goes about releasing Echo on consoles.

The final phase of the new character release will be the launch of Echo in Competitive Mode, which will happen sometime after the AI becomes available in-game.

It’s unclear if this too could be pushed back due to the current situation and how the Overwatch League schedule is changing.

“One lesson we’ve learned in this ongoing health crisis is that we need to stay as flexible as we can in terms of league operations and scheduling,” a message from OWL explains.

“We will always put safety first, and that means responding to new developments immediately and being willing to change our schedule and format wherever needed.

“We are working closely with our teams in an effort to keep bringing amazing matches to fans all over the world and appreciate all of the patience and understanding we have seen from our fans as we shift plans. We will release updated schedules for future weeks as soon as they’re available.”

Resident Evil Resistance beta: PS4 and Steam latest as fans wait on new times

The latest news on the Resident Evil Resistance beta is that matchmaking issues have forced Capcom to delay the launch on PS4 and Steam.

And so far tonight, that situation has not changed. The good news is that Capcom could provide an update very soon, confirming the new timings for the PlayStation and PC launch.

For now, the official Resident Evil Resistance website no longer lists beta times for PS4 and Steam.

And unfortunately, there will be no easy way for the free open beta to be extended to make up for the lost time encountered today.

Resident Evil 3 Remake has a release date set for April 3, 2020, on PS4, Xbox One and Steam.

And the current Resident Evil Resistance open beta has a set end time on Xbox One scheduled for 3:00 a.m. Friday, April 3 (EDT).

A message on the site adds: “Unfortunately, due to some technical issues, there is a slight delay for the Resident Evil Resistance Open Beta on PS4 and Steam.

“The Xbox One version is unaffected and will be available as scheduled.

“We are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and will keep you updated on its availability. We sincerely apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience.”

While PS4 and Steam gamers wait to join the Resistance beta today, Capcom has shared some tips for how best to take on the roles of Mastermind and Survivor:

  • A firm understanding of the map is a shortcut to a better experience. If you’d like, you can even play with the map screen displayed!
  • If cameras are malfunctioning after being damaged by Survivors, you can restore functionality more quickly by moving the left and right sticks in a rapid fashion.
  • You can surrender your command over a controlled zombie at any time by simultaneously pressing the L3 and R3 buttons (On Xbox One, you can do this by pressing the left stick and right stick).

  • When teammates acquire important items or your goal has been updated, this information will be displayed in the upper left of the screen.
  • In the first area, it’s not enough to just gather the three key items; the door won’t open until all four teammates are waiting together.
  • In the second area, once you defeat the Security Guard Zombie and obtain the Security Card, you must disarm three security devices.
  • In the third area, you need to destroy three red Bio Cores.
  • When someone obtains Umbrella Credits, the other Survivors will receive the same amount of Credits.
  • Using a melee weapon will decrease its Durability. If you have a Repair Kit, it will be consumed automatically to fix the weapon when its Durability falls to 0.
  • Sometimes you will spot a zombie carrying a backpack. By defeating this Supply Zombie, you can get powerful weapons and items.
  • What about the nightmare-inducing Tyrant? Is there any way to stop him!? As a strategy, we recommend running away!
  • Survivors have two types of skills: a highly versatile ‘Personal Skill’ and a powerful ‘Fever Skill’ that will come in handy when the going gets tough!
  • By shooting a camera with a gun until the camera’s durability is reduced to 0, you can cause it to malfunction temporarily.
  • If you are continuously attacked by zombies, you will become infected. You can heal this infection by using a Blue Herb or Infection Treatment Spray.

Reports started coming in at around 6pm, the same time the new FUT Birthday event kicked off on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

EA Sports has not posted anything yet on the current server troubles but an update is expected if problems continue.

It’s unclear what has caused the current issues with FIFA 20 FUT servers, or how long the outage might last.

Hearthstone update: Free Deck, Priest card changes and Stormrage Battlegrounds patch news

The Hearthstone Battlegrounds update coming today will include a lot of changes for both the base game and the Auto-Battler spin-off. With the Ashes of the Outland expansion just a few weeks off, Blizzard is making some big changes before the new cards land. These tweaks were fleshed out last week by the team, along with the news of the new Demon Hunter Class.

That stole a lot of headlines but there’s also plenty of other changes coming in today’s Hearthstone update.

One of the more eye-catching is the introduction of free decks for lapsed players and those just joining the game.

“Starting March 26, new players and players who have not logged into Hearthstone in the past four months will earn a free deck from a class of their choice–built with cards from Year of the Dragon–upon graduating from the New Player ranks!

“Free deck only available to players who have not logged into Hearthstone in the past 4 months beginning on March 17, 2020. Limit one per account.”

This could help bring back players to the game and also encourage those who are little intimidated by it to have a go.

The March 26 patch also brings changes to how card packs work, with Blizzard making it so players no longer receive more than two copies of any Common, Rare, or Epic until you have owned two copies of all cards of that rarity in a set.

Blizzard has also confirmed that Crafting a card counts towards acquiring it, and any cards you acquire and later disenchant (whether golden or non-golden) count as well.

  • League of Legends Mobile release date WARNING and LoL Wild Rift news

“This means that if you get a card that you don’t want, you can disenchant it and you will not receive it again until you have all cards of that rarity from that set,” a message from Blizzard adds. “This change does not affect the overall distribution of rarities in card packs.”

Today will also see the introduction of a big Priest update, which includes rotating six cards to the Hall of Fame and adding six brand-new Priest cards to the Basic and Classic Sets.

Seven existing Priest cards are also being improved in Basic and Classic Sets, with Dust refunds being handed out today.

Hearthstone Battlegrounds will also see big changes today before the launch of the game’s next expansion.

Illidan Stormrage will make his debut in Battlegrounds, offering up his own unique ability in the popular eight-way auto-battler mode.

This includes the Passive Start of Combat ability, which allows Your left and right-most minions to attack immediately.

This new Hearthstone update is going live later today and is expected to be available to download sometime in the afternoon in the UK.

New perks will also be going live today from the Tavern Pass, with Blizzard adding: “With the release of Ashes of Outland, we’re introducing the Tavern Pass—an all-new way to access Perks for Battlegrounds.

“Available for $19.99 or 2500 Gold, the Tavern Pass includes four Arena Tickets and the following Battlegrounds Perks for the duration of the Ashes of Outland expansion cycle: advanced stats, visual emotes, a third and fourth hero to choose from at the start of a game, and early access to new Battlegrounds Heroes (subject to the release schedule of new Heroes).

“If you currently have Battlegrounds bonus stats, choose from 3 Heroes, or visual emotes unlocked—you will get access to the equivalent new perk starting on March 26.

“Battlegrounds Perks earned from collecting Descent of Dragons packs (including the new perks such as choosing from 4 heroes) will expire once Ashes of Outland is released.

“With the introduction of the Tavern Pass, which is included in the Ashes of Outland Mega Bundle, players will no longer have to purchase card packs in order to unlock Battlegrounds Perks.”

PS Plus April 2020 free games LEAKED: Sony announce PlayStation Plus PS4 plans early

According to a video that was recently pulled from the official PlayStation YouTube Channels today, Sony has revealed its plans for PS Plus April 2020 early. From what has been shared online, plans for the next lineup of free PS4 games has been shared early, well before the news was expected. The video confirming the official lineup has now disappeared and it appears we now know for certain what is being planned for PlayStation Plus next month.

According to the newly leaked information from Sony, PS Plus April 2020 will feature Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

This was featured in an unlisted PlayStation Access video alongside Dirt Rally 2.0, which would make for another excellent mix of games.

As mentioned above, this video has now been taken down and is no longer available to watch on the official PlayStation Access YouTube Channel.

While we may have learnt about the new PS Plus games for April early, we probably won’t get to start playing them until for a while.

The current lineup of titles are not being replaced until April 7, meaning there is still a two-week wait for the big PlayStation Store refresh.

And unless Sony decides to change how they usually do things, we can probably expect this leaked April PS Plus information to be shared before then.

Until then, PS Plus gamers will be able to download Shadow of the Colossus and Sonic Forces, which are the March titles available to download.

More about those two games can be found below:

Shadow of the Colossus

Tales speak of an ancient realm where Colossi roam the majestic landscape. Bound to the land, these creatures hold a key to a mystical power of revival — a power you must obtain to bring a loved one back to life. Shadow of the Colossus is a breathtaking journey through ancient lands to seek out gigantic beasts. Armed with only a sword and a bow, explore the spacious lands and unearth each Colossus, presenting a unique challenge to test your wits, determination, and skill.

Sonic Forces

In Sonic Forces, the evil Dr. Eggman has conquered much of the world with help from a powerful and mysterious new villain named Infinite. Now, you must assist Sonic and build an army to reclaim the world as they fight against chaos and destruction. Defeat enemies with blazing speed as Modern Sonic, catapult past perilous platforms as Classic Sonic, and create your very own Custom Hero Character equipped with a variety of powerful gadgets.

Another bonus will be launching this month for PS Plus gamers to enjoy, launching before April 7.

The Predator: Hunting Grounds Trial Weekend starts soon and will give players free access to the upcoming title for a limited time.

The trial will be available to download this Friday in Japan at 3pm JST, in Europe at 4pm GMT, and in North America at 5pm PST.

A message from the IllFonic development team reads: “As the deadliest hunter in the universe, you have access to a plethora of off-world tech and weaponry.

“The classic arsenal will be the foundation of each Predator loadout. The Plasma Caster for ranged combat, the wrist blades for close encounters, infrared vision mode to track down your prey, and advanced cloaking for staying stealthy.

“Other weapons, perks, and gear will be available for unlock as players level up, such as the Smart Disc, Combistick, and more.”
