PS Plus May 2021 selection of free PS4 and PS5 games will be launching soon. On Tuesday May 4 the PS Plus free games line-up will be refreshed, with the May 2021 downloads launching. The PS Plus May 2021 free games are Wreckfest for the PS5 and Battlefield V and Stranded Deep for the PS4.

The inbound new PS Plus line-up means time is running out to download the April 2021 free games.

The PS Plus April 2021 line-up was headlined by Oddworld: Soulstorm for the PS5, which arrived on PlayStation Plus on its release day.

The other free games included in the PS Plus April 2021 line-up are Days Gone and Zombie Army 4: Dead War for the PS4.

Zombie Army 4 is from Rebellion Developments – the makers of Sniper Elite – and was only released last year.

While Days Gone is a post-apocalyptic zombie survival game and was one of the most high-profile PS4 exclusive releases of 2019.

The new IP was created by Bend Studio, the minds behind the iconic OG PlayStation series Syphon Filter.

According to the official PlayStation app, these April 2021 PS Plus games are available to download for free via PlayStation Plus until 10am BST on Tuesday May 4.

That’s likely to be the launch time also for the PS Plus May 2021 line-up.

The PS4 and PS5 games included with the May 2021 PS Plus line-up will be available to download until the June 2021 PS Plus line-up is released.

The June 2021 PS Plus line-up is pencilled in to release on Tuesday June 1 2021.

The big PS5 addition to the next PlayStation Plus line-up is Wreckfest, a Destruction Derby like racer from the makers of the FlatOut games.

While Battlefield V is being added to the PS Plus ahead of the upcoming reveal of the hotly anticipated Battlefield 6.

DICE has already teased that Battlefield 6 is getting revealed “soon”, and promised it will offer a “jaw-dropping” experience for next-gen consoles.

While Stranded Deep is a first person survival game where you find yourself stranded in the Pacific Ocean.
