Monster Hunter World: How To Get The Fun Fright Fest Demonlord Armor And Frankie Palico Sets

Whether you’re a fan of the holiday or not, Halloween events in games always have awesome rewards, and the Fun Fright Fest in Monster Hunter World is no exception. This year you can earn a brand new armor set not only for yourself, but for your trusty palico too. However, all good things must come to an end, and so you only have until November 5 to snag these spooky armor sets before the festivities close and they’re gone for good. If you and your palico want to get into the holiday spirit, here’s how you can get the Demonlord Armor and Frankie Palico set.

How To Get The Fun Fright Fest Demonlord Armor

While the event is active, make sure you’re also picking up as many Fun Fright Tickets and VIP Fun Fright Tickets, which we have dedicated guides for as well. You will need these new items to craft the Demonlord armor, so make sure you read up on how to get as many of them as you can. There is also a special event costume you can wear for free until November 5, but if you want to keep it beyond that date you will need to purchase it for $3.00.

As far as the Demonlord armor set, you will need to go out and pick up a bunch of resources to craft each different part: the hair, cloak, blackarm, belt, and boots. Here is everything you need for each part, and where you can find them.

How To Craft Demonlord Hair

  • One Fun Fright Ticket, obtained either through a login bonus or daily bounty.
  • One Pure Dragon Blood. The best odds of getting one to drop will be from Master Rank monsters like Kirin, Lunastra, and Kushala Daora.
  • One Shadowpierce Fang, which you can only get off the Blackveil Vaal Hazak.

How To Craft Demonlord Cloak

  • One Fun Fright Ticket.
  • One Pure Dragon Blood.
  • One Deathweaver Membrane. This is another drop exclusive to the Blackveil Vaal Hazak.

How To Get The Fun Fright Fest Frankie Set

This little costume puts your palico into a cute Frankenstein costume, complete with a ball and chain weapon. If you look close you can even see their eyes peeking through the mouth. This set costs far less than the Demonlord armor, and what you will need is much easier to come by.

How To Craft Frankie Steel Ball

  • One Fun Fright Ticket.
  • One Dragonbone Artifiact, which you can find in Master Rank bonepiles in the Ancient Forest, Wildspire Waste, Coral Highlands, Elder’s Recess, but the best odds are in the Guiding Lands.

Of course, these two outfits are just a taste of the new content and Halloween themed cosmetics to discover around Monster Hunter World, so make sure you take in all as much of the seasonal festivities as possible before time runs out.
