Rockstar Games is just days away from releasing GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition on PC and consoles.

The remastered Grand Theft Auto collection contains new and improved versions of GTA 3, Vice City and San Andreas.

If this sounds like something you might be interested in, then Rockstar recommends you pre-load the game now.

Pre-order customers are currently able to download the games ahead of launch on all platforms.

This means you’ll be able to jump into the action and start playing as soon as the games are available.

As a reminder, GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition has a November 11 release date and a 3pm GMT launch time.

The classic Grand Theft Auto games have been given all kinds of improvements, which will bring them in line with modern releases.

Naturally, this includes updated graphics, specifically new lighting and environmental upgrades, high-resolution textures and increased draw distances.

Fans will also benefit from controller upgrades, including GTA 5-style targeting.

“Experience the games that started it all — introducing unprecedented freedom and immersion through three living, breathing worlds filled with hilarious action, rich, cinematic storytelling, classic characters, and unforgettable music,” reads the official description.

“Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition introduces wide-ranging modern control upgrades, including improvements to targeting and lock-on aiming, updated Weapon and Radio Station Wheels, updated Mini-Maps with enhanced navigation allowing players to set waypoints to destinations, updated Achievements, Trophies, and more.”

Interestingly, the Nintendo Switch version contains motion controls, as well as touch screen capabilities.

Players will be able to use the Nintendo Switch touch screen to zoom in and out, and to select menu options.

PC users also receive some exclusive benefits, such as NVIDIA DLSS support.

Grand Theft Auto Trilogy Definitive Edition will be available for Xbox Game Pass subscribers at launch, followed by a PlayStation Now release in December.

The bundle will also get a physical release on December 7, which is perfect for collectors.

To celebrate the release of the GTA Trilogy, Rockstar will release special bonuses and other items in GTA Online.
