The massive world of God of War knows no bounds. From riding a boat from one location to another or fighting Draugrs in another realm, God of War does not disappoint. God of War has a lot of collectibles in the game. Odin’s Ravens, Jötnar Shrines, and Treasures. Treasures are buried loot that you can look for in the game and there are twelve scattered in different areas of the game.
The way they work is that you will first have to find a treasure map that will give you a clue as to where you can find that treasure. Once you get hold of the map, you can analyze it and go to the location of the buried treasure.
Where to find The Last Place They’d Look Treasure Map
For The Last Place They’d Look map, you will have to make your way to the Mountain. You will come to the area during the main story mission, “Return to the Summit.” The treasure map lies on the ground in a tunnel near where you fight the Frost Ancient.
The map will appear in the Goals tab under the Treasure map sub-tab. The next thing you need to do is to find the treasure.
Location of The Last Place They’d Look Treasure
The treasure map in your inventory will read as follow:
“The Valkyries will hunt me until my last breath. If they seek what is mine, I shall hide it right under their noses.”
This clue hints to the Council of Valkyries in Midgard. Upon arriving at the location, go to the council area. Do remember that you will have to defeat Sigrún, the Valkyrie Queen, so that you can freely explore this area. The treasure is buried next to a throne west of your compass. Keep looking on the right side of the thrones if you can not associate which throne it is.
Collecting the treasure will get you an Unstable Ore, a Legendary Enchantment, Hacksilver, and five Hardened Svartalfheim Steel.
