Genshin Impact 2.2 is out now and comes with one big detail for gamers playing on PS4 or PS5. Aloy is now unlockable on PlayStation consoles to more players, and gamers on PC and Mobile accounts weren’t expected to be able to unlock the huntress today.

However, some have revealed that they have received the five-star character in-game, simply by reaching Adventure Rank 20.

Earlier in 2021, Mihoyo had stated that Genshin Impact 2.2 would include a short exclusivity period for Aloy.

The message from earlier in the year reads: “Aloy, the legendary Nora Huntress from Horizon Zero Dawn, answers the call of adventure in Teyvat and embarks on an all-new journey.

“If you reach Adventure Rank 20 or above during the Version 2.1 and Version 2.2 updates, you’ll receive the five-star crossover character “Savior From Another World” Aloy and her four-star bow Predator via in-game mail when you log into Genshin Impact on PS4 or PS5.”

Aloy is part of an ongoing event that has been divided into two phases, with the first phase starting today.

During the event, all Travelers who log into Genshin Impact on the PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 system will be able to obtain Aloy directly through in-game mail.

However, Phase 2 will start with the end of Genshin 2.2 and the start of Genshin 2.3, meaning that Aloy isn’t supposed to be available on Mobile or PC for at least six weeks.

During the second phase of the event, Travelers who log into Genshin Impact on any available platform, and who have yet to obtain the character during Phase I will be able to obtain Aloy directly through in-game mail.

Based on what has been shared so far by Mihoyo, Aloy will be available to unlock on all platforms on November 24, 2021.

There is also a new Aloy Genshin Impact web event starting today that will add rewards to your account.

Aloy’s Exploration Journal Web Event can be accessed through the official website and adds Primogems ×40 + Shivada Jade Fragment ×3 to your account.

A message from Mihoyo adds: “During the event, Travelers can follow Aloy’s footsteps, peruse her diary entries, and experience her journey through Teyvat firsthand.

“There are three routes to explore during the event: the wild in Mondstadt, Dragonspine, and the wild in Liyue. The three routes will be unlocked one after another as time goes on.

“Travelers can obtain rewards by completing all exploration points and Boss points in turn.”
