Forza Horizon 5 already has over one million players thanks to its early access launch, but a torrent of new gamers will soon be added to the servers.

That’s because, unlike other games on rival platforms, the Xbox and PC racer is about to become very accessible.

The Forza Horizon 5 release time for Xbox Game Pass has been confirmed for this week, meaning that everyone with an active subscription will be able to jump in.

Day One console exclusives are becoming more common on Game Pass, and Forza is just the latest in a long line of big titles entering the popular digital library.

Next month will see Halo Infinite added, possibly one of the only other game franchises that could eclipse Forza in terms of fanbase loyalty on Xbox.

As early access has been limited to those buying the most expensive version of Horizon 5, many racing fans are eager to jump in and start exploring the latest title in the franchise.

Based in Mexico, Forza Horizon 5 has already scored impressive review scores and looks set to dominate the Steam charts for this month.

The Forza Horizon 5 release time on Xbox Game Pass is expected for 0:01 GMT in the UK on Tuesday, November 9.

Subscribers are never made to wait around for a new release and there is no reason to believe Microsoft is planning to do it for the big Forza release.

The one big thing to note is that there have been reports of crashing issues on PC and this could hinder progress when the game goes live in the next 24-hours.

It should also be noted that the normal Forza Horizon 5 release date has also been set for November 9 for those who have bought a base copy and don’t use Xbox Game Pass.

The good news for gamers eager to start playing Forza is that the game can be preloaded via all platforms today, weighing in at around 100GB.

Set in Mexico, Horizon 5 will make it possible to unlock a number of exotic vehicle types while exploring the country.

A message from Microsoft revealed more about the situation, telling gamers earlier this year: “As you play through Forza Horizon 5 and explore our expansive version of Mexico, you can expect cargo planes, an active volcano, a race to the festival under beautiful Mexican skies, and more.

“You’ll see exciting sights like the Ford Bronco Badlands atop the active, snow-capped Gran Caldera volcano, the 2020 Corvette Stingray tearing up the asphalt towards a dust storm in the Mexican farmland, and the Porsche 911 Desert Flyer crashing through the dense jungle tree canopy.

“We’re thrilled Ford and Mercedes-AMG fans can drive the year’s biggest vehicles in-game, thanks to their great partnership.

“And thanks to the capabilities of the Xbox Series X|S consoles, we knew we could dial-up the detail and authenticity more than ever before.

“For example, ray tracing in Forzavista – we get a new level of material response and reflections, that are more like what you’d see with your eyes in real-life.”
