Vitality sign 17-year-old misutaaa to replace ALEX
Just a day after Alex “ALEX” McMeekin’s move from the roster was officially announced, Vitality has signed a replacement. Kévin “misutaaa” Rabier has joined the roster in place of ALEX who made the decision to step down from the team due to the “demanding lifestyle of a high-level professional CS:GO player.”
At 17-years-old, misutaaa has been viewed by many as one of the most promising young talents in the scene. He’s followed a similar path to Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut, who elected to focus on his studies before jumping into the top level of Counter-Strike.
It was previously rumored that G2 was interested in the young player, however, that ship has since passed and it’s Vitality that will be gaining the player’s talents.
misutaaa has played only two LANS, but they were impressive showings. He’ll get his chance to prove himself further at ESL Pro League Season 11 which will kick off on March 16th as the team’s debut with the young talent. The French lineup will be competing in Group A alongside the likes of Astralis, Ninjas in Pyjamas, ENCE, GODSENT, and Sharks.
Shortly thereafter he’ll be making his Major debut as Vitality’s placement last year at the StarLadder Major in Berlin secured a spot in the New Legends Stage.
