Modern Warfare 2 Remastered coming with next Call of Duty, says leaker
Even with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare only four months old, we’re starting to receive leaks about Activision’s next Call of Duty entry. However, unlike in years past, this leak doesn’t have to do with the main entry in the series. Instead, this leak concerns the remastered title that will release alongside it. According to an inside source, Modern Warfare 2 Remastered will release with the next installment in the Call of Duty franchise. This would be the second remastering in series history, with the original Modern Warfare Remastered arriving three years ago.

Call of Duty to release Modern Warfare 2 Remastered?
Considered by many to be the best title in the series, Modern Warfare 2 brings back nostalgic memories for most fans and current players. While the game did have its problems, like One Man Army and Noobtubes, the rest of the gameplay elements made up for it.
It’s because of this popularity that many believe it’s the next title to be remastered by Activision. We’ve been hearing rumors about this possibility for nearly a year, though nothing had come of it. However, one prominent leaker has publicly stated Modern Warfare 2 Remastered will release in 2020.
Modern Warfare Remastered is releasing this year, with multiplayer #ModernWarfare #MW2R @TheGamingRevo2
MW2 Remastered*
Okami, our inside source, is known for correctly leaking many aspects of Call of Duty. He leaked the original Gunfight beta in Modern Warfare and has predicted Warzone battle royale’s release date.
While this isn’t an absolute guarantee, this is as close to confirmation as we’ll see when it comes to Modern Warfare 2 Remastered. Activision has been particularly stingy about revealing any future content for Call of Duty, as we’ve seen with Warzone.
If Okami is correct and MW2R is releasing in 2020, then it should arrive similarly to how the last remaster did. Infinite Warfare in 2016 had Modern Warfare Remastered release directly alongside it. So, if that holds, you’ll need to buy the new entry to have access to MW2.
