Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Gets a World Championship Theme Song

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang developer MOONTON has released a theme song for the upcoming M2 World Championship. The song, titled “Immortal Hero,” is performed by British indie-rock band The Filthy Souls and has amassed more than 750K views on YouTube at the time of writing.

MLBB is particularly popular in Southeast Asia, where the bulk of this year’s World Championship participants reside, and so the song will also be remixed by artists from Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Myanmar, and Indonesia to be performed in their respective local languages and markets.

The release of this theme song follows a tradition established by the League of Legends World Championship. Each year, Riot Games commissions a theme song for Worlds, which is then performed live at that year’s World Championship opening ceremony. The tradition began in 2014, when Imagine Dragons performed the song Warriors at the World Championship in Seoul, Korea.
