Cloud9 to make their LAN debut at Dota Summit 12 next week

Set to fill the void in between the StarLadder ImbaTV Minor and the ESL One Los Angeles Major, Dota Summit 12 found all its six teams that will fight for the title and a share of the $150,000.

Cloud9 re-entered the Dota 2 scene at the end of January 2019 and played in Southeast Asia regional qualifiers for a ticket to either the SL-I Minor or LA Major, but missed both trains. In the aftermath of the qualifier campaign, they drooped three players and announced their return to the base, in NA, with Jacky “EternaLEnVy” Mao in the carry role. The new roster will most probably look to clinch a spot at the next round of Dota Pro Circuit tournaments, but before that, C9 will have the opportunity to test their line-up in a LAN setup at Dota Summit Season 12. Their company at the event is looking rather great with three Major attendees also joining in. After Fnatic and Evil Geniuses were announced yesterday, Beyond the Summit have also confirmed Thunder Predator,  the Peruvian team qualified for LA Major, to make a short pit stop at the Beyond the Summit house.

Lastly, Team Liquid, who much like C9 are waiting for the next DPC qualifiers, will travel to California, Los Angeles to fight for the Dota Summit trophy.

Looking at the full teams line-up for Dota Summit 12, there are three teams that qualified for the LA Major and will most likely take the Summit event as a training ground for the Major, and three teams that missed their chance in the qualifiers and will look to take full revenge for having to sit out the third round of DPC tournaments.

Dota Summit 12 starts on Tuesday, March 10 and unfolds till Friday, March 13.
