23savage is the second player to break the 11K MMR barrier

After Abed Azel ‘Abed’ L. Yusop reached the 11,000 Matchmaking
Rating all the way back in May of 2020, a second player has now reached the amazing
achievement as Nuengnara ‘23savage’ Teeramahanon confirms his accomplishment.

A few years ago, only a few select players that put in the
time and effort were able to reach the peaks of the Dota 2 MMR system as 10k
was once a huge achievement. However, in recent times, especially with the lack
of international tournaments due to the global pandemic, a large number of
professional players are finding it easy to break that barrier. That said, a
short time ago, one player went above and beyond as 11k MMR was registered by
Abed in May of this year.

With the crisis continuing, a second player has reached that
magical number with Fnatic’s 23savage crossing the border last night. Confirmed
with a post on his Twitter account, the young Thai player has now found himself
in the upper echelons of the Dota 2 MMR logs.

As can be seen in the image attached to the Tweet, 23savage clearly
plays a lot more Morphling than anything else – which explains his normal
destruction with the hero. Some of his other notable heroes can be seen as
Invoker, Juggernaut and Faceless Void, all of which we have seen the player
excel on at one stage or another.

Although Fnatic were unable to take down the mighty Geek Fam
at the recent ONE Esports Dota 2 SEA League, they have registered a string of amazing
first place finishes throughout the year – even beating OG at the DOTA Summit
12 just before lockdown kicked in across the globe. For now, we wait to see
which player will be the next to reach this amazing milestone and join both
Abed and 23savage at the peak of Dota 2 MMR.
